I'm not all too familiar with github. Is there an intended way to get the latest dev build? What I've been doing is downloading the code and rearranging the folders until it matches the release build. I assume there's a better way of doing this though. If there is, how?

if you have the github repo you should be able to run it in an IDE

Oh I see. That would make sense. Thanks.

... Rearranging the folders? You can just run .\gradlew build after extraction, even if you are downloading manually, right?

yeah it occurred to me that the whole slime block thing was kinda useless after patching the insta-death aercloud bug
  10. cr24Team

and remembering we literally have a block to launch things downwards

    Sounds like potentially fragile timing
  12. cr24Team

    it uses tripwires

    ..... Smart
  14. cr24Team

that's why theres that weird 5th block at the back

I'm just a student in high school still. I really don't have much experience with github. I know what it does and how to use it, but I am not familiar with it

Replying tofishythe aether is being ported to forge 1.16, by another team

Could you send a link? Would like to track progress

Since a lot of people seem to ask about the forge port of the aether I'll just make this message and pin it. We are making effectively a port of the original Aether, NOT Aether II, with a few extra blocks thrown in and some changed recipes, and new textures to fit the modern Minecraft "feel". There will be a legacy resource pack to relive the old textures. Forge Aether twitter account: https://twitter.com/devaether?lang=en Forge Aether Discord: https://discord.gg/SSFgGht Forge Aether curseforge link (at the moment they are working on 1.12, but their twitter has screenshots with 1.16 blocks so maybe there will be something sooner than we expect): https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/the-aether-ii(edited)

    We will make expansion packs
  22. cr24Team

At this point the focus is on legacy features and parity but after that is done yes

i've got a suggestion for when this mod is inevitably ported to 1.17, since now they use raw ore materials instead of ore blocks for things such as gold and iron when not using silk touch, i think this should be done for any ore that also does that in the aether mod, to make it feel a little more like vanilla

    Replying tokalucky0.

Too bad I use forge over fabric otherwise I would for sure try this mod
