I've read through the FAQ and all the help questions regarding BindCommands and none relate or help my issue.
I installed the mod fabric-bind-cmd-2.0.0-beta.2.jar and I'm using Fabric loader 0.18.4, fabric-api-0.138.4+1.21.10, and fabric-language-kotlin-1.13.9+kotlin.2.3.10
I'll load into the game just fine and open the menu for BindCommands and try to add a command (e.g. /open or /seed) to any button at all and nothing happens.
I've tried several commands and buttons and nothing works.
I've tried your exact setup and the mod is working fine. Can you share your .minecraft/config/bind_cmd.ini, any logs from .minecraft/logs, and also tell me whether you are using any other mods?
I can go further and zip my mods and config folders if you can't determine it from the logs. I'm also willing to screenshare if that helps and I can modify and debug live if it's something perhaps on my machine. I've tried keybinds that have no conflicts as well and those don't work.
Btw, what I did for those log files are:
Launched the game
Clicked multiplayer
Joined the server
Opened Mod Menu
Opened settings for BindCommands
Removed and recreated the binds
Exited all menus and tried the binds
Then exited the server
Went into singleplayer
Tried the binds again

Are you playing on Minecraft Realms?

No. It's a fabric java server I'm running on a self owned linux machine
It feels like one of them is doing something to either Minecraft's binding system or network handlers, because they are the two only things that are required for this to work
So you want to put in a issue on the git or you want me to do it? You might have more detail to put in. So in your mod you forward/next the input?

If they have a Discord server you can mention you can notify them there. I'll try to investigate why that mixin is doing that. After a quick look it seems like it ignores all non-minecraft bindings (?)
Yes, it works, thanks a lot. So you removed the api dependency or another workaround?
fella_guy renamed the thread to “BindCommands on 1.21.10 Not Working with FrostByte's Improved Inventory (Fixed)”.

I rewrote the way key events are detected. Previously it was checking every tick if a bound key was pressed. Now I'm hooking into Minecraft key press event, retrieving a keybind based on that, and executing all commands, if it exists.
