Me and the friend played this mod last night and it was quite fun and interesting. I checked the github after a hour to see what was planned and that "Guidebook" might be the best thing next for the mod to have implemented next cause I didn't realise there was a wiki on the github for about a hour or two of trying to figure out in-game anything that could point towards making the campfire or "Pit Firing" etc. until I checked for what is upcoming, in-game there is no indication how you make a campfire and overall many things are very confusing on how to figure them out, just a suggestion I believe could take this mod from where it is now to having more people play through it and enjoy it overall. I do feel you have some grand plan to make the Guidebook a very detailed and high quality system, though I do think at least as a temporary measure the guidebook is a item you always have in your inventory when you create the world or respawn and as a quick temporary measure when used prompts you if you want to open the Wiki which is on the github, then also dislcose that it's a "temporary placeholder before actual intended guidebook is implemented" so people know in a future version of this mod the Guidebook will be overhauled and made a integrated feature in-game not making you go into the github wiki for the mod. I will give the benefit of the doubt of this being a mod in ALPHA and it being it's literal birth days essentially but hey, inspite of that, it sure is a very fun mod so far, great work! 😄

the website needs to be updated a bit but I think what I may do (temporarily) is to have a chat message pop up when you join or a written book that you get that has a link to the website wiki

REI Info Blurbs would be pretty cool as that's what myself and my friend have been using to check recipes etc. But yea, I'm happy to provide feedback whenever I can to help this mod grow and become a greater "Minecraft Overhaul" mod!

sounds cool! if you want to, I have a crafting type which will damage tools in the recipe, like how stone bricks are made with a chisel or how sticks are crafted with a knife, which might be good for what youre trying to do. just let me know if its not working and I can try troubleshoot, id like for Primeval to be easy to add compat for (and hopefully it is lol)
