- DBloomed Calcite is really neat! I wish it could be made by throwing a healing splash potion though. You can right-click it with healing splash potions and it works, but I think it'd be just that little bit extra if you could throw the potions to affect a small range of blocks :>
- D00:20Frozen Grass also turns into like, the regular grass version when shoveled. I am not sure if it's better to A: Keep it like this, B: change the dirt's texture, or C: Not let it be packed down at all since it's frozen solid
00:22I do like that it's notably more difficult to mine than regular highlands dirt(edited) - C
- D00:22This mod is very cool and I wanna think about it and talk about it

- CGlad to hear you like it! Thats the goal at this point with as rocky as the development has gone historically00:36hopefully thid patch makes the dimension less hollow, with actual progression and stuff to do
- D
- DLevetia is really neat! I also like how blocks just kind of slow down and drop back down when they hit the sky limit00:55Though that said, I think Levetia itself should perhaps break when it reaches the sky limit, and drop straight back down as an item. Otherwise, it just kind of rises and falls forever00:57Which isn't like, inherently a bad thing, but would be better if it didn't maybe00:58Also trying to learn how the Levitator works, or what you could do with it. It doesn't seem like it ever goes back down, or stops anywhere specifically but maybe I am missing something
- DI quite like Tree Taps. I am not, however, a big fan or their ability to produce Honey without bees. Like it's justified a little bit by the fact that, if you want a lot in one place, you need Silk Touch for the nests since it seems like Beehives do not produce honey through Tree Taps. But it still kind of invalidates actually farming Bees01:13I think it'd be better if the Tree Taps automatically harvested honey into bottles when the hive was ready01:14Each one can support up to four taps, I think that's more than enough to validate the usage of Tree Taps

gold clouds 👌02:26agreed on levita, I know at some point blocks did that but idk what happened(edited)02:29and good feedback for the treetaps, I should add blockstate predicate02:29hmm. ideas brewing - D02:32Unless you're up in their face, they will aggro and un-aggro instantly and be unable to give chase

I actually quite like that the original Gravitite gimmick was moved to a slightly more common, niche material. And the sky border limit is a great feature to not let things just disappear into the nothingness above But I also think the Levitator is pretty lacking, it could use some complementary features. I think the easiest addition to think of would be some sort of "anchor" that stops the Levitator when it comes across it. The specifics of that could be hashed out, but I think it would give the Levitator some more depth02:48I also think it would be cute if the Levitator actually just sort of "let go" of the slab up top rather than the entire block moving
- K
- DLooking at the little metors now. I think it would be nice if they had like, more land around them to look like they "crashed" into
03:39The mechanic of the heat sort of "bursting out" at first is also a little bit unclear Think that could use a little bit more visual aid(edited)03:44Speaking of Mother Aurel Trees, it would be incredibly neat if you could tap stripped logs for sap
03:44The textures for this tree and the wood are really gorgeous though, it gives off that opulent golden look wonderfully03:50The Nitra Bunch is kind of weird. It seems to be TNT with no windup03:51Which is neat! But it's so got no real visual feedback like TNT does; ie, the way it sort of flashes and turns white, and grows quite large before exploding. Nitra Bunch does not do this03:52In fact, setting it off with Redstone instead of a Flint and Steel results in no feedback at all! No explosion, no particles. Just the blocks breaking03:54They also cannot cause a chain reaction with other Nitra Bunches03:57Would love to be able to throw these like little bang snaps too. No tile damage, but a little exlosion crack would be cute~

- D04:38Right clicking the Orange Leaves should proably make Oranges pop out in place, rather than direct depositing into your inventory
04:39Bottles being filled makes like, the "Item pick-up" noise. Would be cute if they made the actual bottle filling noise that plays when you fill a bottle with something like water

I think having it directly to the inventory is a small quality of life thing, like, imagine it gets launched to the void because there's not a platform underneath? - K

Okey!15:21I'll try to make some stuff - WWhy?? Is it a Rook or Envoy?

I have some homework to do, but I did take some screenshots that look nice, it's really not much, but I hope they work

I think it's very unlikely that there is no surface for an orange to land on. An abundance of leaves to land on. I think it's more worth it to provide the feedback of right clicking, and an orange popping out to keep in tune with Vanilla's pick-able items such as Sweet Berries - K

I guess its fair that it makes it feel vanilla... ? tho I'm not really a fan of that happening, like, imagine taking some berries and the drop them to the ground just to pick them back up... - DIf you are close enough to a bush, the berries basically go straight into your inventory. They don't fall onto the ground for a few seconds or anything. Oranges being the same way would fit right in It feels way better to have that like, visual feedback of the berries popping off the bush and then going into your inventory

- KI was thinking about the contrast, of the image and the blocks shown, I wanted the mod's biome and world to stand out of the "normal Minecraft" trying to capture the normal scenery from so close felt as if it maybe a normal world at times- So I thought it was appropriate to add a bit of the vanilla blocks to make the mod's blocks stand a bit more

Tho, these don't show the vanilla blocks and also look nice(edited) - DI think it would be cute if Aurel trees could generate in certain biomes, as if to say some saplings fell from high above and took root down below
21:02I think they blend in quite nicely21:08Also I love that, despite all the differences, the Highlands biome still so closely resembles the original Aether
- C
- DMaybe as another type in a new biome? To be honest I really like the simple-ish Minecraft tree shape. There are already a few trees that generate slightly differently21:18Gives it a very "Familiar but different" vibe that I like a lot
- C21:20have you seen the thicket biome
- D
- D21:21Oooo! Very pretty actually. So this is where Mother Aurel trees spawn21:22Saves it from being like, a solid mass of leaves; it's got shape to it21:24I am noticing what I presume to be a bug, though. Some trees have leaves that just begin to despawn; the trees here in particular are doing that a lot. I figure it has something to do with the way Minecraft handles leaf despawning if it's not close enough to wood21:24I can only imagine this has an impact on performance
- DAlso whilst talking about the Thicket, I really do love this biome actually. Very pretty, and the Liverwort that spawns here is a nice addition. Really love when biomes have an extra naturally occurring block or two to set itself apart Given Liberwort is basically the same as Moss, it'd be neat if we could Bonemeal Liverwort to make it spread as well. Plus it's already got a "carpet" block, would love to see a little bush or something that grows on it <3

Replying tocr24good point. I should change it to put more "branches" in the leaves to extend the decay…
This would most likely solve it I think!21:38The music is so nice too. Maaannnn...(edited) - C21:47not sure about what kind of plant I'd make to go with it yet

- DSo what are the plans generally for Dungeons? Is it still planned to keep the structure of like23:49Bronze, Silver and Gold? Same bosses? Or will they take a new direction as well?
