    Server update in a few
  2. SollyTeam

    I thought they already did?
  3. CDAGamingTeam

Nah Moas are fine atm, but idk how they'll be when I apply this
  4. CDAGamingTeam

Also made the genType stuff public too for leagcyGen (Note legacy terrain will not be used in the server)

  5. SollyTeam

    leagcy
  6. CDAGamingTeam

Was a change I made a while ago, but I forgot to bundle a datapack with it with 1.5

im very excited for cock to release
  8. CDAGamingTeam

    Replying toSweepSwapdoes it increase performance?

    It increased its stability
  9. SweepSwap

i imagine optimizing code would do dhtat
  10. SweepSwap

Replying toCDAGamingWent from barely running on a server, to being near-perfected in a single release

wish minecraft could have that kind of stability
  11. CDAGamingTeam

    true
  12. SweepSwap

its what happens when someone isn't great at coding(edited)
  13. AzzyypaarasTeam

    So uh, fun fact
  14. SweepSwap

    i knew he coded games
  15. AzzyypaarasTeam

To be fair, we also perhaps judge him a tad harshly
  16. SweepSwap

im sure the other minecraft devs made shit code as well
  17. AzzyypaarasTeam

And more relevantly, when mc was created the latest shit was java 6
  18. AzzyypaarasTeam

Which was pre-lambdas, streams, and optional iirc
  19. SweepSwap

    now they use java 16
  20. AzzyypaarasTeam

    Yes
  21. SweepSwap

if you did that in java 6 i assume it'd tell you to eat shit and die?(edited)
  22. AzzyypaarasTeam

    Yes
  23. ColdFlame53

ya'll think this will work on 1.17.1
  24. SollyTeam

    The mod?
  25. ColdFlame53

    yee yee
  26. SollyTeam

Yes, that's what it's developed for?
  27. ColdFlame53

well it came out on 1.17 and isnt on curseforege launcher in 1.17.1
  28. SollyTeam

1.17 mods should mostly work fine on 1.17.1 anyway
  29. jarjarbinksfanfiction

Hi there! I really like this mod so far - I was hoping I could get some help though, I love riding the moa but I always take fall damage when landing a flying moa. Any way to mitigate this? Sorry if this has been answered in the past!
  30. SollyTeam

ok explain to me who the HELL thought it was a good idea to create multiple new ArrowEntitys each FRAME when rendering arrows stuck in the player/shield
  35. SollyTeam

    Probably nobody, but it works
  36. FoundationGames

    multiple new arrowentitys every frame
  37. SollyTeam

    But it does work :)
  38. AzzyypaarasTeam

    :mulch:
  39. FoundationGames

Replying toSollyBut it does work :)

ok then how about for a web backend instead of an actual database for user data we just store it all in a single json file will it work? yes regardless of how utterly moronic the prospect of it is? sure will it work well? hell no
  40. SollyTeam

To be clear, I'm not supporting them
  41. FoundationGames

that’s not what i’m asking about
  42. SollyTeam

It was probably just the first way to implement it that came to mind at the time
  43. Gray

why doesn't /weather clear work in the aether?
  44. Jack PapelTeam

It's a bug with Minecraft. It's on the bug tracker, so it should hopefully be resolved in a few updates
  45. Gray

    that worked, thanks
  46. Jack PapelTeam

    Awesome, have fun!
  47. Gray

do y'all have a channel I can post the stream link?
  48. Jack PapelTeam

Hm, I suppose off topic would be good for that
  49. Gray

    A'ight
  50. Gray

How do I get the rabbit off my head
  51. Jack PapelTeam

At the moment you have to kill it
  52. Gray

    Rip
  53. Gray

    Why don’t wisteria leaves decay
  54. CDAGamingTeam

They should but all the trunks need to be removed afaik
  55. Gray

They are removed and they are not decaying
  56. CDAGamingTeam

Hm, I'll check in the backend
  57. Gray

If you wanna see, I’m streaming and looking at a tree I chopped
  58. CDAGamingTeam

Yea, Im looking at your stream, definitly is weird 🤔
  59. Gray

What is the yellow ore used for
  60. ColdFlame53

    Fuel
  61. CDAGamingTeam

Tbf, I did expand some systems so technically that's allowed in backend, but I wouldnt be so sure for quicksoil variants Also yes, Ambrosium is used as fuel as well
  62. ColdFlame53

a good change it was "D
  63. CDAGamingTeam

    Indeed xD
  64. cr24Team

I am going to break @Azzyypaaras's neck if I find out he broke the leaves again
  65. cr24Team

it should be 3 items i think in a furnace
  66. Gray

It doesn’t go in the fuel slot
  67. cr24Team

it used to fuel 🤔 how did we break it
  68. CDAGamingTeam

Dont look at me, I blame mojang
  69. Gray

    Confirmed bug?
  70. CDAGamingTeam

    @Mixin(AbstractFurnaceBlockEntity.class)

Is that in the 1.16.5 version
  72. CDAGamingTeam

    1.16.5
    NO NO NO
  73. Gray

    I can’t
  74. CDAGamingTeam

    It works on 1.17 xD
  75. Gray

Well my other mods aren’t updated yet
  76. CDAGamingTeam

    Which ones?
  77. Gray

    Dynamicsoundfilters and Mambience(edited)
  78. CDAGamingTeam

I'll take a look but please go to 1.17+
  79. Gray

I will once my mods are fixed
  80. CDAGamingTeam

Compared to the 1.16.5 version, the 1.17 version is far better
  81. Gray

    This is dynamic sound filters
    Image shared by Gray
  82. CDAGamingTeam

Ill test mambience on my end since you said DSF works
  83. Gray

Not according to my friend who I had open it
  84. CDAGamingTeam

I mean it had a depends section, not really any real dependencies DSF however in your screenshot does have an MC lock on it (Which I can remove)
  85. Gray

    The Mambience depends section
    Image shared by Gray
  86. CDAGamingTeam

I said the DSF one has an mc depends which im going to test removing xD
  87. Gray

    Aight
  88. CDAGamingTeam

Both mods work on 1.17 with the changes

  91. Gray

I will once my server is finished updating to 1.17.1
  92. CDAGamingTeam

Also note, your current world will still work fine in 1.17+ as well, as the port was designed very carefully for world compatibility
  93. Gray

I’ve noticed that the slimes are.. interesting
  94. CDAGamingTeam

    Thats adjusted in 1.17
  95. Gray

    Also imagine this
  96. CDAGamingTeam

To put simply, the 1.17+ port was when I and Jack really got involved, and it let to over half the existing code being rewritten
  97. Gray

    Aether faithful 32x
  98. CDAGamingTeam

That actually existed in the past, but the faithful devs would need to redo the pack for 1.17 standards plus the new namespaces
  99. Gray

Did mojang redo the names of stuff in 1.17
  100. CDAGamingTeam

No, I mean the namespace GG's aether uses and our aether uses are different
  101. Gray

    Ah
  102. CDAGamingTeam

    Nice 😄
  103. Gray

Do those trees decay in 1.17
  104. CDAGamingTeam

    Yes
  105. AzzyypaarasTeam

    >uses mod in a different major version
  106. Jack PapelTeam

    He was on 1.4.1
  107. Gray

There’s one version with optifabric working(edited)
  108. Gray

    I already have optifabric
  109. AzzyypaarasTeam

Replying toCDAGamingThey had a lower Fabric version active lol

Still should not have worked :concern:
  110. Gray

    Already have that too
  111. Gray

Replying toAzzyypaarasStill should not have worked :concern:

There’s one 1.16.5 version of the mod where optifabric works
  112. CDAGamingTeam

Though one warning for optifabric, is that idk if they updated Aether's compatibility, but if they did things should work fine If so, you can also use Sodium (And iris if you still want shaders)(edited)
  113. Gray

Sodium runs like dog shit on my pc
  114. AzzyypaarasTeam

    You pc is wack
  115. Gray

    🤷
  116. AzzyypaarasTeam

Regardless, since CDA may be giving you false hope here, optifabric is not officially supported by us
  117. CDAGamingTeam

That almost shouldnt be possible, as Sodium is built to have newer optimizations that are supposed to outmatch OF's(edited)
  118. AzzyypaarasTeam

Newer advancements as in actual good, modern code
  119. Gray

I get 15-20 FPS with sodium, 20-23 FPS without anything and 30-115 FPS with optifine
  120. AzzyypaarasTeam

    :sus:
  121. Gray

Tested all 3 on a flat world, normal world and a server
  122. AzzyypaarasTeam

How old is your pc, exactly, because that may be the cause
  123. CDAGamingTeam

In either case, if Optifine fails, try and see if this works as it should (under the proper settings) give a higher fps then optifine
sodium-fabric-mc1.17.1-0.3.0build.517.jarJava archive, 550 KB. Not stored in the archive.
  124. Gray

I also use various other mods
  125. CDAGamingTeam

Sodium should work just fine with them as well, as Jelly's optimizations are not built to be as invasive as OF's have been Also yea, those two mods should work just fine
  126. CDAGamingTeam

You get my point 😛 smh Azzy(edited)
  127. Gray

  134. CDAGamingTeam

  141. CDAGamingTeam

    Definitly cursed
  142. Gray

I hope this is the right place to post this; I am currently playing with the Aether mod (fabric) and everyone's portal seems to send them to my (original) portal. It's not creating independent portals. I was wondering if this is meant, or if there was a way to fix it so this doesn't happen?
  182. Jack PapelTeam

Currently, Aether portals work the same way nether portals do in terms of linking, as far as I know
  183. Onslaught

This is what I thought, but their portal is like 1k+ blocks away.
  184. Jack PapelTeam

    Hm, that does sound strange

  186. Jack PapelTeam

Our mod uses an API called CustomPortalApi, which manages the portals for us. I'll provide a link, and you can make an issue on their GitHub
  187. Onslaught

Alright, has no one else had this issue before? :pepeHands:
  188. Jack PapelTeam

We've had a great variety of issues regarding portals, but not this specific issue
  189. Onslaught

    Thank you
  190. Jack PapelTeam

Hopefully they can solve your issue. Have fun!
  191. Onslaught

Here's to hoping 🙂 ty again

You could just make these portal “bugs” features....😈 haha
