Yesterday I re-did all the recipes so if anyone is testing/playing from the github source let me know of you notice anything is missing a recipe or loot table

I removed all recipes
and redid everything
I think everything is accounted for
In effect it's everything that maybe had a recipe before, but now all blocks and items and such have crafting, smelting etc recipes(edited)

I definitely have.
I don't make unsubstantiated claims. If I don't know enough about something to comment on it, I'll say so.
I know enough about programming in VSCode to say that you shouldn't use it when better alternatives exist.

VSCode is sufficient for web editing and simple Python scripts, and not much else.

I use it for data files (JSON, Yaml, etc.) and markdown, but I really wouldn't suggest it for Java programming.

I use idea to setup the project tho
For bigger projects I might use pycharm or.idea tho
