I really love when microsoft covers my entire screen with a "You should update to windows 11" screen and closes all my programs
  2. SollyTeam

    You should upgrade to linux
  3. Jack PapelTeam

    Thinking about it...
  4. SollyTeam

Linux can run on ntfs if you want, but it's better to use ext4
  5. Jack PapelTeam

If I use ext4, does that mean I can't access my windows files through linux?(edited)
  6. SollyTeam

It can access an nfts partition
  7. Jack PapelTeam

Oh well as long as I can access it that should be fine
  8. SollyTeam

You could easily boot from an ext4 partition but mount your windows home dir to your linux home dir

Hm now that I think about it most of my stuff is on OneDrive anyway

My Windows tells me that I can't upgrade to Windows 11 even though I meet all of the requirements

Replying toJack PapelI wonder if you could install Linux onto a thumb drive and plug it in whenever you…

You can do pretty much whatever you want. That would work, but it'd take a bit of effort to get a usable, non-demo installation. I wouldn't recommend it for a first install

Yeah I'm just not sure if I want to use up my hard drive for Linux when my school stuff is on windows

Alright Google tells me I can use wine if I want to be stuck with office 2003 or I can use a VM to run windows, and subsequently run office
