im not sure but i swear i saw or tried this mod before and it had more mobs or the portal used to look different(edited)

The portal did change to differentiate from the Aether mod
idk about mobs, but @cr24 will know

back in 1.19.2 it was going to be an aether remake and in 1.20. it became its own thing. but i don't think the aether remake era ever got that far in actual development / release

thats right. in 1.20 we learned that the aether mod was actually finally going to get updated since it was kinda dead back then. out of respect for them and because we were making our port without permission it got majorly reworked
though at the time i think we only had moas, aechor plants, awrbunnies, and swets
but this was like 2023/2024, not recently

yeah i mean technically the moas in PL are based on the ones from the Aether, which are actually based on chocobos from final fantasy... which maybe are based on real moas lol(edited)
