- DI think Lost Vaults should have some sort of surface marker. They're very tiny and rare enough as-is, locating one feels like it would be next to impossible unassisted17:05And Glazed Gold feels like a niche upgrade, being so hard to find doesn't help it(edited)17:08A small little stone peak of sorts; just a very small, no larger than 3x4 structure of loose brick would do the trick17:08Doesn't need to be exactly that size but you get the idea17:12The means of getting more Glazed Gold tools feels a little funky too. Crafting an upgrade with more gold to get a duplicate upgrade I think it would be a little cleaner, and a little neater, if the Vaults instead gave you something to craft a workstation block with. Like a Glazing or Guilding table that you use tools and some material like Golden Amber and Gold Ingots in to glaze golden tools(edited)17:13That way you're still using materials to make guilded tools, and still need to discover a vault to begin making them. But it's not a single upgrade you are duplicating anymore(edited)
- C18:14in 1.20.x it will change to match the smithing pattern of the netherite upgrade
- DThen I think something different should be done. Glazed Gold equipment is still inherently fragile, exponentially more so than Netherite. Not only that, but it's much harder to get your hands on18:23Granted, you can in fact craft the upgrade so long as you have found one and not lost it(edited)18:24I just feel as though you can accomplish the same thing without the unnecessary extra step of duplicating upgrades18:25A feature that is present out of necessity specifically for the reason that finding more is incredibly difficult18:26I think a station that enables you to glaze tools, after which the cost comes from that process rather than duplicating one item over and over, is a bit cleaner(edited)18:31Unless of course, Glazed Gold upgrades loot from Paradise dungeons. In which case duplication makes them redundant(edited)

Replying tocr24do you know the recipe for netherite upgrades?
I know you use the upgrade table; to my knowledge the recipe changed some recently and I do not know the new recipe18:33I'm just approaching the topic of the mind that using the Upgrade Table specifically; since Netherite does, isn't explicitly necessary18:34I'm only familiar with the Scrap and Gold for Ingots, and upgrading a Diamond Tool with an ingot to make it Netherite18:35(For the record I think whatever you go with is totally fine I just think it's an interesting topic) - C
