    You can right click to place a moa egg into it, and then over time it will hatch. Hotter biomes means faster hatching time, the nether is the fastest but not the most convenient lol

    To ask since you know alot more then me how many moa of each color will I need to successfully get the hybrids? I got the basic 4 I need to get the ones I'm missing but they are running me ragged on oranges
