the main reason is i would need to delete literally every paradise lost quest i made lol

It's not being removed, we're reworking it so it's not just a regular ore
we're trying to balance it a bit better and make it more utilitarian
it'll be back in 2.2.0 if I have anything to say about it

the big reason is because we'd like to change how whatever the new tools/items are obtained, and change the way the new material will be gathered
it's a matter of considerable rebalancing, to such an extent we decided to temporarily remove them for an update
