all i did was put a redstone torch on the side and jump above it
and it didnt bring me upwards
do i need full gravitite armor or sum?

I don't have the world file anymore but using trapdoors like that stops them and doesn't suffocate/push the player
you can slime block them to the side if you're fast about it
