launching with 1.17.1 fabric

Your have the fabric api for the wrong version, that is a 1.16.2 snapshot fabric api. https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/fabric-api/files/3398557 This should work for the newest release

This would save a lot more future pain for people. The mod is good, the devs are nice, and i like where it seems to be going. Eager to see it fleshed out.
I'm using the items that I've found to work atm in a custom datapack to get the most out of what's in the mod files.
Lightning sword appears not to work? and also how does one source the enchanted berries??

the enchanter would have been the way to get the berries, but atm they are not obtainable, most of the gear (since it is unobtainable) is not fully implemented

What's with portals being so inconsistent tho
I enter, sometimes spawn somewhere without a portal, next time I do spawn somewhere with a portal, I leave through the portal, and one time I do end up at my original aether portal and the other time it creates a new one a few blocks away
