It isn't necesarily a bug, more so that it's a reflection failure that needs to eventually be looked at once 1.17 arrives (I found it a few days ago while doing some 1.17 prep work, the class erroring is using reflection on a field that's no longer present in the newer api).(edited)

well paper is different from fabric, fabric is softer and fluffier, paper is easier to tear

Fabric handles things differently than paper. For example, fabric can be laid evenly over a sphere, though paper can't without creasing.(edited)

Cardboard is not a good project. The author is notorious within the modding community for writing bad nonfunctional code. Anything that does work is stolen from other projects.

Having Light first kinda gives the wrong idea
It would pair up better with Mojang's naming scheme for blocks
