    we're actually covering 100% of the playerbase because there will be a forge and a fabric version

    Fabric is much better than forge. It's easier for devs, and most new mods use it

    and fabric is the only one that updates fast. Forge will probably update to 1.17 when 1.18 is out, if not later

    the devs said they were gonna do major rewrites on the code for 1.17, so even if they are fast its gonna take a long time
