IMS22:14

AzzyypaarasTeam22:14
Neither of them make good use of lightning imho
IMS22:14
lightning?
AzzyypaarasTeam22:14
It is too on your face, making everything overly bright
lighting*
IMS22:15
boy have i fixed that
AzzyypaarasTeam22:15
Bruh
mmm yes, CHEESE STICKS
tbh, without lightning this would have been a very nice image due to the contrast between dark and light(edited)
IMS22:16
something like the second photo?
AzzyypaarasTeam22:17
ooh, it is starting to get nice
IMS22:17
turned down the bloom as much as the settings let me
AzzyypaarasTeam22:17
Eh, it is not about having no bloom
It is about using it smartly to create contrast between light and dark
IMS22:17
i will take a moment to say this world gen is... interesting
I'm using volumetric lighting
AzzyypaarasTeam22:18
Now that is a lovely picture
IMS22:18
concern
i didn't even mean for that to be a picture, i was just showing the world gen
AzzyypaarasTeam22:18
It would look lovely as the background of the website or of a server banner
IMS22:18
k
problem is
clouds are glitching
because there usually isn't clouds below terrain
AzzyypaarasTeam22:19
You mean like, the void clouds?
IMS22:19
yeah
the shadows/reflections are reflecting off the clouds
AzzyypaarasTeam22:19
Optifine issue, I'd imagine
Welp, sucks
IMS22:20
shader issue prob
guess i'll just turn off clouds
A
AzzyypaarasTeam22:20
Optifine can eat my ass though
- 👍1
IMS22:20
AzzyypaarasTeam22:21
Why are you focusing on the dark
Also that picture completely lacks any sort of midground
IMS22:22
i'm not used to taking images of floating cities
AzzyypaarasTeam22:23
I should boot up the aether with shaders and take some pics myself, that way we get some nice stock and I get to fulfill my daily quota of inflating my ego by proving myself artistically superior to someone else
IMS22:23
concern
added waving manually to each leaf type
also i thought there was supposed to be automatic ambient music (edited)
AzzyypaarasTeam22:28
Cal set it up, scream at cal if it don't work
IMS22:30
uhhhhh
godrays from below... cool
anyway, ToD photos now(edited)
AzzyypaarasTeam22:52
