    As it turns out, it's much faster and easier to abandon IDs or a registry altogether(edited)
  2. EmpressAutumn

    so then what are you doing?
  3. Jack PapelTeam

    Oh this is a silly side project where I fix some annoying technical things with maps
  4. EmpressAutumn

    very cool
  5. gudenau

    Anyone know much about threads in C?
  6. Jack PapelTeam

    huhFile, 24 KB. Not stored in the archive.
  7. gudenau

    No extension for some reason.
  8. Jack PapelTeam

    Oh, probably because I named the file that way
  9. gudenau

    What are you trying to inject?

  11. gudenau

    So.
  12. Jack PapelTeam

    Yeah yeah I know how it works
  13. gudenau

    Really?
  14. Jack PapelTeam

    Yeah
  15. gudenau

    You should have ServerWorld world, ItemStack map in front.
  16. Jack PapelTeam

    Well it did that much
  17. gudenau

    You can just remove the ones that you don't need.
  18. Jack PapelTeam

    It has duplicated them three times (aroundabout)(edited)
  19. gudenau

    I have not had it do that yet.
  20. Jack PapelTeam

    Well, I'll try to figure something out
  21. gudenau

    Definitely need those two leading args though.
  22. Jack PapelTeam

    Okay, I've gotten the red line to go away now by manually putting those variables in
  23. gudenau

    Looks like it wants int, boolean[], int, int, int, etc..
  24. Jack PapelTeam

    And it gaslights me, because that's not even what my method signature looks like
  25. Jack PapelTeam

    Replying togudenauLooks like it wants int, boolean[], int, int, int, etc..

    This is what my parameters look like
  26. gudenau

    found is what you wrote, expected is what it can access, available I don't know.
  27. Jack PapelTeam

    ?
  28. gudenau

    LocalCapture.PRINT
  29. Jack PapelTeam

    No I haven't, I'll try that
  30. gudenau

    This is one of the things that is super weird about Mixin.
  31. Jack PapelTeam

    Replying togudenaufound is what you wrote, expected is what it can access, available I don't know.

    it got the found section wrong btw. I wrote
        private static void overrideWithColor(ServerWorld world, ItemStack map, CallbackInfo ci, MapState mapState, int i, boolean[] bls, int l, int m, int category, MapColor.Brightness brightness, MapColor mapColor) {
            ((MapStateExtensions) mapState).setColor(l, m, mapColor.getRenderColor(brightness));
        }
  32. gudenau

    Oh.
  33. Jack PapelTeam

    Welp
  34. Jack PapelTeam

    Replying togudenauI don't know.

    I read this in the voice of the little guy from kung fu panda
  35. gudenau

    Ugwai?
  36. Jack PapelTeam

    I think that's the turle, not him
  37. Jack PapelTeam

    That guy, yeah
  38. gudenau

    Shifu.(edited)
  39. Jack PapelTeam

    Huh. Looks like it's a bug with the Minecraft development plugin
  40. gudenau

    Yeah the plugin is buggy.
  41. Jack PapelTeam

    My laptop is on battery saver so I can't tell if my code is slow or if it's my laptop
  42. gudenau

    Minecraft?
  43. Jack PapelTeam

    Probably both, though
  44. gudenau

    It's both.
  45. Jack PapelTeam

    C? A little bit. Not more than you
  46. gudenau

    I have something like this:
    #include <cstdio>

    extern "C" {
    #    include <pthread.h>
    #    include <semaphore.h>
    }

    sem_t semaphore;
    pthread_t thread;
    bool shouldRun;

    int main(int argc, char** argv){
        sem_init(&semaphore);
        shouldRun = true;
        pthread_create(&thread, nullptr, [](void* user)->void*{
            sem_wait(&semaphore);
            while(shouldRun){
                printf("Thread work\n");
                sem_wait(&semaphore);
            }
            return nullptr;
        }, nullptr;
        sleep(4);
        shouldRun = false;
        sem_post(&semaphore);
        pthread_join(thread, nullptr);
        return 0;
    }
    This is printing Thread work in my program.
  47. Jack PapelTeam

    Oh well I've not done any threaded stuff so I can't really help you there
  48. gudenau

    Cache coherence.
  49. Jack PapelTeam

    According to the first result on google, C does have something like that
  50. gudenau

    C volatile is nothing like Java's.
  51. Jack PapelTeam

    gotcha
  52. gudenau

    In C it means don't optimize this away and in Java it means ensure all writes are seen by all threads.
  53. Jack PapelTeam

    Oh I think I understand the mixin thing
  54. gudenau

    I fixed it.
  55. Jack PapelTeam

    I wish 7zip could search through zip folders
  56. gudenau

    7z l | grep
  57. Jack PapelTeam

  59. Jack PapelTeam

    ngl I didn't know 7z was available for terminal
  60. gudenau

    Of course it is.
  61. Jack PapelTeam

    Does it come with the default install of 7z or do I have to get something special?
  62. Jack PapelTeam

    Huh. Look at this cool stuff bedrock edition has

    Replying toJack Papel(The project name is temporary)

    tf you mean temporary? Map Unfucker is blessed
  64. Jack PapelTeam

    Hm... My original concerns were due to profanity and children, but come to think of it, the user wouldn't end up actually seeing the name of the mod if we don't create a modmenu screen for ourselves
  65. gudenau

    @Jack Papel 7z
  66. gudenau

    Replying toJack PapelAccording to this, if I add this in my mod mojang will not implement it as a feature in…

    They still take mod ideas, they just don't credit anymore.
  67. AzzyypaarasTeam

    Replying toJack PapelHm... My original concerns were due to profanity and children, but come to think of it…

    I will eternally love the dichotomy that sometimes forms here, you are worried about saying fuck in the name of a library almost nobody will ever read, meanwhile I have an item named
