    no don't slap whoever decided to name FAPI "fabric" instead of "fabric-api"

    Yeah the issue isn’t really the splitting of the two, it’s the poorly worded error message

    well, when a mod depends on like, geckolib, fabric loader says: "mod x requires mod geckolib, which is missing"

    yes - my point is, the problem is not separation of loader and FAPI, the problem is that some idiot decided the internal name of FAPI to be "fabric" instead of "fabric-api"
