Granite ore is pretty rare. I'd say either have the ore drop multiple gems, or have the block only require 4.

with fortune it'd be like 1-8 i think
having the block recipe be a 2x2 instead of 3x3 feels inconsistent to me

as far as I remember gravittie dropped ore and was "smelted" in an enchanter into enchanted gravtite (which was a block) and that was the material used for crafting so it appears like a gem but behaves morea like metal and smelts already into blocks
