A bit of schizoposting. I found a (obviously unplanned) reference to the Roman Empire in Paradise Lost. First, Mother Aurel sounds similar to Aurelia, and that was the name of Julius Caesar's mother. And second, Aurel is also one letter away from the Laurel, the plant that crowned the emperor's head.

Another shizoposting. In many cultures, oranges were also called "golden apples". So we can say that the oranges of the Paradise give more saturation than the apples of the Overworld for a reason.
