I have 2 theories, 1, you may be using normal water, 2, you are using normal calcite or maybe glow stone

Yup, thats the issue-
The paradise lost did some changes to not have incompability problems with the Aether 1 and 2 projects, you need something called "Bloomed Calcite"
And, I forgot the name of the special water-
