The milk in my cereal is growing colonies
Paradise lost gotta be one of my favorite things
OK this milk is starting to taste old
Nvm it's fine
I'm letting the expiry date get to me
Innead08:54
Remember, yogurt is just expired milk
Nerjal Nosk09:47
*cooked
And only possibly expired, although it quite often is
Have you ever seen the milk used in yogurt factories? No? Trust me, you don't want to

I've been having an issue with Prism Launcher being really slow to download or it's download freezing and turns out the issue was where I downloaded Java from
It doesn't like Java from OpenLogic, but it runs perfectly well with Java from Adoptium
Strange
I generally just assume all Java is the same
Nerjal Nosk16:26
OpenJDK >>>

Replying toNerjal NoskOpenJDK >>>
Tbh does OpenJDK offer some sort of performance boost over other java installs?
Nerjal Nosk18:21
Iirc over oracle's yea, but I mean, Oracle's java is pretty much universally recognised as crap(edited)
Others, idk
Innead18:22
I'll switch to OpenJDK over Adoptium then
Oracle java requires an account to install so I have no idea who'd even use it nowadays
Nerjal Nosk18:23
It doesn't tho
They're just really strongly pushing you do make one
Literally just headed to their website, and I mean, there just are the links https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/#jdk21-windows
(except if you want to access to their java archives. Those do require an account)
Innead18:31
Yeah I need Java 8 for older versions so
Oracle a no go
Nerjal Nosk18:34
Fair enough
Openjdk exists for pretty much all versions anyway
Just harder to find for some older versions
But if on Linux, just one or two commands will perfectly do the trick X)
Innead18:52
Alas I am on windows full time at the moment
Nerjal Nosk19:19
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
