>Minecraft community constantly complains about added mobs having no functional value aside from looking neat >Mob with an actual new functionality not otherwise present in vanilla wins >"copper golem looks cooler tho"

yeah if the allay actually worked

wait you actually disliked it

it sucks fr

To be fair, all the mobs in the mob vote were meant to be useful, for the glare, they were plannning adding the ability to light up stuff, the copper golem didn’t seem that useful but it would add stuff like copper buttons = Myabe new delay? They would also be amazing decoration block and the pressing of button, yes even tho you can make redstone clocks is always much more fun, people make chicken randomizers instead of redstone because it just looks better and its easier to setup same as the copper golem and it would also give more use to copper that is rn just decoration block that is very expensive, yes allay is very useful and im not mad they voted it but im still copper golem gang because you can say the same thing with it, its just moving hopper with some functionality (The non-stackable item sorting is very neat tho)

Except for the fact that it’s a beta and things are going to change

we will see
