the fact that he didn't even try to scare them off, they just shot her before getting any confirmation on who they were
  3. Rusty

    agreed
  4. SweepSwap

    thats gun control
  5. Rusty

i should have phrased that better, we don't need guns to be completely outlawed, we need to make sure that only people with proper training and mental health can get access to them
  6. Jack PapelTeam

Replying tokalucky0And I thought I couldn't hate weapons even more...

POV: you don't live in America every day and aren't used to this
  7. Rusty

    lucky
  8. Rusty

and i fully believe that goes both ways, civilian and police/military
  9. Jack PapelTeam

I agree mostly cause gun go bang and it's cool
  10. Larry Cable Guy

Replying toSweepSwapcontrol who's allowed to have guns

something something Shall not be infringed or if your a marx fan under no pretext
  11. kalucky0Team

We should not need any weapons at all
  12. Jack PapelTeam

    Good luck enforcing knife control
  13. Jack PapelTeam

    Replying tokalucky0Fists are enough

We need to fight like men
  14. kalucky0Team

    This
  15. Larry Cable Guy

reject modern military-industrial complex, embrace 18th century pistol duals between quarelling parties
  16. kalucky0Team

You can use your money in better ways
  17. Larry Cable Guy

whats better than excessive amounts of obsolete firearms
  18. kalucky0Team

    Excessive amounts of fake money
  19. Larry Cable Guy

fake money doesnt make a big smoke screens and let you larp a cowboy/colonial militiaman
  20. Rusty

the issue with weapons is even if we were to ban all sales and ownership, people would just do it illegally
  21. kalucky0Team

    Obviously
  22. SweepSwap

the only difference is that it would be a lot easier to find people who illegally own guns when theres not a chance that they own it legally
  23. Rusty

    that's a good point
  24. kalucky0Team

If somebody needs a gun for illegal activity, even if owning a gun is legal they won't be getting it legally
  25. SweepSwap

yeah but if no-one can own guns, its a lot easier to control illegal gun ownership because you know that they can't have guns
  26. kalucky0Team

That's a thing of the past
  27. Rusty

there's plenty of people in the us that get a majority of their animal products themselves
  28. kalucky0Team

You need a license for that, right? Right?
  29. Rusty

    yes
  30. SweepSwap

    yeah
  31. kalucky0Team

I'm not a big fan of hunting
  32. Rusty

for most animals there are certain times/places/limits
  33. SweepSwap

    yeah
  34. Larry Cable Guy

At least in the US, hunting is not a protected constitutional right :hehe:
  35. kalucky0Team

You can always use your car if you need some fresh meat
  36. Larry Cable Guy

but yeah lots of restrictions there, though in my experience a lot of hunters (or at least the more responsible bunch) are pretty self enforcing
  37. Rusty

tell me how i get use my car to get fresh dove

  42. Rusty

wym by wild? like not in an enclosure? or not living in a city?
  43. kalucky0Team

    Living outside of urban area
  44. Larry Cable Guy

My main issue with banning firearms for a general population is the power difference it then makes between a community and those who control it, armed groups are harder to oppress and a not insignificant amount of gun control regulation (again, at least in the US) has been targeted against said communities
  45. kalucky0Team

It would be hard in the US
  46. Rusty

it would be like another cold war if we tried it here
  47. Larry Cable Guy

it can be argued the current system of federal assault weapon regulation is to stop poorer people from owning them with tax stamps, etc.
  48. Rusty

"put down your guns pls" "no u"
  49. kalucky0Team

    Peace, love, and plants
  50. Rusty

current gun regulations were made by people who don't know how guns work
  51. Larry Cable Guy

    ^
  52. kalucky0Team

Doesn't that apply like to at least half of the existing laws?
  53. Larry Cable Guy

the fact that most of the items on california's assault weapon ban are literally cosmetic features with no relation to function is actually fucking hilarious
  54. kalucky0Team

    are kinder eggs still illegal?

  62. Rusty

  63. kalucky0Team

Those are two different products lol
  64. Rusty

closest thing to a kinder egg we have
  65. kalucky0Team

    That's weird
  66. Larry Cable Guy

Ive occasionally seen kinder eggs at some smaller locally owned places but thats usually bc they have leftover stock from before the ban and they dont care about getting ganked by it bc no one actually enforces it
  67. kalucky0Team

It's hard to fit one in you mouth, let alone swallow it Source: don't ask
  68. Larry Cable Guy

iirc they were only banned bc it falls under some blanked definition (still kinda stupid though)
  69. Rusty

    Can't argue with that
  72. Jack PapelTeam

popsicle sticks are arguably embedded in the popsicle
  73. Larry Cable Guy

    maybe it means fully enveloped?
  74. Jack PapelTeam

law is usually super vague on purpose so maybe
  75. Larry Cable Guy

actually that might be the case since its organic and as such technically digestibly
  76. Jack PapelTeam

Weird that they'd define it that way in the first place though
  77. Larry Cable Guy

    yeah
  78. Larry Cable Guy

if theres one thing you can trust lawmakers to do its word things as obtusely and needlessly vague as possible
  79. kalucky0Team

    It depends
  80. Jack PapelTeam

In the 20th century there was a law banning 9 pin bowling (which at the time was the only kind of bowling)
  81. Jerakl

    alright fuck you
  82. Jack PapelTeam

But I agreed with him 😥
  83. Jerakl

    well I didn't read anything
  84. kalucky0Team

    ban
  85. Rusty

guns are cool but people that don't know how to / aren't able to use them properly shouldn't be using them
  86. Rusty

    lmao
  87. kalucky0Team

guess which one is easier, removing guns or human stupidity
  88. Jack PapelTeam

Here's a good compromise: Firearm training should be banned

the way i did it was take crushed ginger and boil it with sugar and water, then put it in a jar and add a little yeast once cooled and let it sit in a cool, dark place for a couple days releasing pressure every now and then (this was an attempt to make normal ginger ale, but bc i heard somewhere to use yeast it quickly went alcoholic)

  129. Jack PapelTeam

  130. Larry Cable Guy

the fact that I can be drafted to go die for some rich jackass's oil but not buy a beer afterwards is fucking stupid, and I don't even drink
  131. Jack PapelTeam

Portugal's drinking age is below its driving age, and as such its drinking-and-driving fatalities are so much lower
  132. kalucky0Team
