    The whole point in forge supporting a particular release version is so all the mods can catch up and exist in one place at the same time. Seeing as forge major updates could take as long as half a year, historically. Fabric really doesn't have that same issue, mods can update as late as a week later (or as early as a few hours) so they already exist together fairly easily.

    It's not a custom texture btw, it's a cube with the block texture taken from <mod_name_here> with another cube at the same postion but inflated by 0.01 that has a gradient texture
