I remember a while ago a discussion about forcing aether portals to only be 2x3. What's the reason?

I'm having this issue. Never modded for fabric before, am I missing something? All I've done is load the file from the github into my IDE.

maybe check the wiki? I'm not sure netbeans is compatible with fabric modding
