Daily update for today:
FabricAPI development is moving along slowly but surely, and as for the poll, things are currently leaning in the direction of going to the 1.18 snapshots once a build is ready.
A brief psa for that tho:
- It will be using the same seed of the world, but the world itself will be reset (And likely reset again if further snapshots dramatically change overworld generation). The old world will be backed up alongisde user data (Which due to changes in accordance to removing unobtainable items/items not yet ready, will also be reset but backed up)
- 1.18 and the regenerated Aether will both look mildly different, with new biomes and generation changes over time (Currently, these changes can be seen in new chunks, but since the world is re-generated, they'll be seen immediatly)(edited)
